But I think they've tried to stop this.

Given that and the opportunities they provide to try a real range of beer, generally well kept, the balance is definitely on the plus side for me.Paul Wrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02286570532701574444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-444372010882241548.post-10536957833556939592011-06-04T21:50:24.401+01:002011-06-04T21:50:24.401+01:00Yes, that would be a great addition to their range...Yes, that would be a great addition to their range Des, especially in the beer desert that is Northern Ireland! Yes, some of them lack atmosphere but they're nearly all a reliable standby for interesting beer and the snobbishness some people have about them makes me cringe. I'm particularly impressed by their policy of inviting overseas brewers to brew cask versions of their beers for the spring festival. Some are particularly outstanding for cask beer choice -- I've listed The Crosse Keys in the City of London as one of my Top 25 beer pubs in London in my forthcoming book, and it's well deserved. Wish they had a more interesting bottled list, though.Des de Moorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08533475300522834830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-444372010882241548.post-24457435881524607912011-06-04T20:43:50.555+01:002011-06-04T20:43:50.555+01:00Yes, I'm with you. Other pub companies could learn a lot from them.Sat In A Pubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08123038980796000837noreply@blogger.com
